Hello, I'm Rise and I am here to give you an idea on how fun and interesting the games are. I hate to play games that are not any good so I will often give you my final take on whether a game is worth any amount of time. I picked the named Rise because it represents how constantly good one should be, in other words, like people, games should always get better, not worse.
What I can say other than that Red Dead Redemption is a great game. Its a free roam style game that pulls you in for its intense gameplay and a story of revenge, love and betrayal. The game has you play as John Marston who is black mailed by the U.S government into going after his old gang buddies. The gameplay in Red Dead Redemption consist of a cover system, a slow time function (where the screen goes to a slow crawl and you use your reticule to aim at the enemy then when dead eye is released you shoot everyone that you marked on the screen) called Dead Eye.
The horses in Redemption are really useful and is your main transportation in the west. There are different types of horses you can break-in and some are faster than others but I really did not notice on the majority of the horses, maybe you'll notice it. There is a camp function that lets you save and transport to other locations, this is the main usage.
The weapons are diverse enough to where you have colts, hunting rifles, shotguns, Molotov cocktails and dynamite. There is also the lasso which you can rope tie your victims and take to some of the side missions. The side missions are pretty unique and you may find some of them sad, funny and disturbing. There are mini games you can play as well like poker or horseshoes.
Red Dead Redemption has an online multiplayer where you play with other characters in the large world of Red Dead Redemption. You can create posse's that just by sending them an invite. You can then supposedly hunt animals together but I never found a lot of people doing that except for the time I had hunting cheetahs.
I am gamer that hates playing bad games and I can tell you this is not one them. Based on what you have read I wonder what you think of Red Dead Redemption. (Click here to make comments.)
